The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025 Academic All-District At-Large Teams for both men and women, featuring six West Virginia student-athletes. Read more: Six Mountaineers Receive CSC Academic All-District Honors
The honor is awarded to student-athletes who compete in at-large sports, maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA and contribute to their own individual or team success.
Rifle Team Representatives
Three members of the WVU Rifling Team earned the honor: Natalie Perrin, Lauri Syrja and Maximus Duncan.
Perrin earned a 3.9 GPA in Multidisciplinary Media Studies in her final year at WVU. She competed in 11 matches for the Mountaineers, highlighted by a career-high 597 in air rifle against Navy.

Syrja maintained a 3.7 GPA in Agribusiness Management. The Finland native and rising junior served as one of WVU’s primary counters, while garnering first-team nods in the smallbore and air rifle.
Duncan, a rising junior as well, earned a 3.6 GPA in History. He shot in 13 matches for the Mountaineers, averaging a 589.2 in air rifle and a 579.4 in smallbore.
A Pair of WVU Rowers
Bailey South and Grace Terlion both earned a spot on the team, representing WVU rowing.
South notched a 3.9 in History and Anthropology, while Terlion also posted a 3.9 in Global Supply Chain Management. They have already showcased their hard work in the classroom before, both receiving 2024 Academic All-Big 12 First-Team nods.

Bush Represents Wrestling
Redshirt sophomore Ian Bush was the lone representative for WVU wrestling. He recorded a flawless 4.0 in Finance. The West Virginia native competed in the 184-pound weight class and secured a 21-14 record.
These six Mountaineers will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where they will then be placed in the First, Second and Third-team Academic All-American teams. The women will be announced at Noon ET on July 8, while the men will be announced the following day.
