Fast-forwarding to the final frame, the Bears held a double-digit advantage for the six minutes before a 6-0 run trimmed the deficit to 70-61 with 3:31 left in regulation.

However, Baylor’s Jada Walker scored the next five points, pushing the lead back to 14 to propel the Bears to a 75-65 victory over 18th-ranked West Virginia.

Harrison’s best performance occurred in the first round of the NCAA tournament against Columbia. The Mountaineers started this contest quickly and efficiently. They knocked down their first five shots, shooting 71.4 percent from the field, resulting in a 24-15 advantage after the opening stanza.

WVU used its trademark defense during a 12-2 blitz that extended the lead to 23 points before settling for a 46-29 lead at intermission.  The teams played to a virtual stalemate in the second half, as Columbia won the scoring battle by a narrow 32-30 margin.

With Quinerly’s departure to the WNBA, it would not be surprising to see Harrison take yet another step in her collegiate career.
