Here’s what to look forward to this season.
Themes and promotions
“All White for 5”
For the most part, WVU is not doing any entirely new themes for this year’s football season. However, one theme that has been away for 18 years is making its return.
The returning theme is “White Out,” which will be referred to as “All White for 5” this season. The theme honors legendary WVU quarterback Pat White on the day of his jersey retirement.
The “All White for 5” game is Saturday’s game against Coastal Carolina. Fans are encouraged to wear white to the game.
This is the first time Milan Puskar Stadium has had a White Out since Pat White’s final home game as a player on December 6, 2008.
The Big 12 Fall Tour
This season, the annual Big 12 Fall Tour will make a stop in Morgantown ahead of WVU’s home contest against Arizona on October 10.
The fall tour will run from October 9-10 and include opportunities such as product sampling, interactive games, and exclusive merchandise giveaways.
The final event of the fall tour before the football game will be a free concert at a location that is to be determined.
The theme of WVU vs. Arizona will be the annual “Coal Rush” game, where fans are encouraged to wear black.
The game is also the Hall of Fame weekend, which will see new members inducted to the WVU Sports Hall of Fame prior to the game at the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility.
Below is the complete theme/promotions schedule for 2026.

Concession prices lowering for select items
WVU Athletics is also bringing back its “Fan First concession pricing.”
Fans in attendance at Milan Puskar Stadium will be able to purchase four items at a cheaper price this season: $3 popcorn, $3 bottle water, $3 fountain beverages, and $3.50 pepperoni rolls.
The select items will be available at the Fans First price at five different concession stands; Red Zone Grill, Endzone Eats, Field Goal Fare, and two Play Action Pizza locations. The stand numbers, in order as listed above, are 5, 14, 18, 11, and 25.
Season ticket holders will also get additional concession stand deals this season through the Coca-Cola Season Ticket Holder Deal of the Game. They will get 10% of their first concession order and 20% off one item of their first team store purchase at each home game.
Changes to Almost Heaven Village and WVU Football entrance
Almost Heaven Village is returning for the 2026 football season.
Fans can arrive to football games early and partake in pregame activities at a new location this year.
The new location is North Lawn, which is adjacent to the Blue Lot. WVU Athletics said it would be a more “centralized space” for fans of all ages.
Activities include food trucks, inflatables, a photo booth, a caricature artist, balloon artists, face painting, a temporary tattoo artist, and sponsor activations.
Another change this season includes how the WVU Football team will enter the stadium.
The team will enter through the tunnel this year, instead of the weight room like it has in years prior. Head coach Rich Rodriguez described the new entrance as if the Mountaineers will be entering like “gladiators.”
