Baker has built a reputation as one of the nation’s most effective athletic administrators and he has been a transformative force since arriving in Morgantown.

Since Baker took over West Virginia University in 2022, he has continued this tradition of excellence, overseeing increasing success in baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, track & field, and rifle–long a cornerstone of WVU’s athletic program.
